Do you know how it feels?
waking up and hearing those screams...
waking up and hearing them yell?

Do you know how it feels?
watching two people who are supposed to love each other
watching them hate each other more as each day goes by?

Do you know how it feels?
to hear the tears rolling down their faces to the ground
to feel the tears falling down my own face to the ground?

Do you know how it feels?
to realize they once loved each other so much
to realize that that love is so far gone it's scary?

Do you know how it feels?
when you can't escape the hell they are putting themselves in
when their hate and anger nearly drives you to suicide?

Do you know how it feels?
when you wish there was something you could do to help
or when you just wish they'd end it so this would be over?

Do you know how it feels?
watching two lives fall apart so readily and so rapidly
watching as you realize that their worst is in you?
